Singing Lessons

What's the point in doing something if you don't enjoy it! That's my motto for all lessons I give. I take time to get to know you and what you enjoy - this means I end up teaching everything from Musical Theatre to Pop, Opera to Jazz. I can prepare pupils for exams if they wish which, once again, we take time to choose. Whether it's Musical Theatre or Pop Exams, Classical or Jazz, it is crucial that you enjoy what you are doing and just have fun!

Piano Lessons

The piano is an amazing instrument and a joy to play, however, I know how frustrating it can be and remember the nights of scales and tears when I was learning. The most important thing is to have fun - I work hard to find music that you will enjoy, that gives you passion and makes you excited to play. I can help with exam work if you need it but would never push a pupil to take an exam they are not ready for. In the past I have had pupils take exams up to grade 5 with ABRSM and Trinity.

Music Theory

I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable teacher that focuses on Music Theory. Teachers need to be able to motivate and guide students towards success. As an experienced and passionate Vocal Instructor, I believe in an approach that gives students positive, constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.
